Every creative team knows the pain of approvals: the endless threads, the “final_final_v7” files, and the late-night scramble to make last-minute stakeholder changes. What should be a simple review often turns into a marathon of delays, confusion, and frustration.
At StreamWork, we’ve lived that chaos firsthand, and we built our platform to fix it. That’s why today, we’re thrilled to announce our most powerful product update yet: 20+ new enterprise-grade features designed to transform how creative teams review, approve, and deliver work.
This release gives teams smarter automation, more flexible versioning, and deeper visibility into every step of the creative workflow, and even extends these updates to our integrations with Asana, Monday.com and more. Enterprise creative, marketing, and brand teams can now manage feedback, approvals, and reporting in one seamless, connected experience so they can cut review cycles by more than 30% and get work to market faster.
As part of this new release, we wanted to deeply understand just how much time, morale and effort teams lose to broken approval processes, so we commissioned a national survey of over 500 marketing and creative professionals to get to the bottom of it. What we found confirmed our suspicions: the current way teams manage approvals is broken.
Over 60% of creative professionals spend up to one full day of their workweek chasing approvals
74% said the approval process takes more effort than the creative work itself
More than half admitted that approved content still went live with errors in the past year, often due to last-minute stakeholder changes
When we asked why, one theme stood out: misaligned workflows.Teams across departments including creative, marketing, legal, and leadership are often working in different tools, on different timelines, and with different expectations. As a result, 58% of the professionals surveyed said they routinely have three to five stakeholders reviewing a single asset, often leading to confusion and rework.
“Even with processes in place, mistakes still slip through because many teams are still managing approvals manually,” said Meredith Bailey, Founder & CEO of StreamWork. “That’s why we built StreamWork — to give creative teams the speed, clarity, and control they deserve so they can focus on producing exceptional work instead of chasing feedback or fixing errors.”

What's New in StreamWork
This release is more than an update, it’s a reimagining of how teams manage creative collaboration. From enterprise-grade bulk approvals to next-generation workflow automation, StreamWork gives teams the tools to move fast without losing control.
Enterprise Bulk Approvals Teams can now route entire campaigns — videos, images, PDFs, presentations, and more — through one streamlined approval flow. Whether you’re managing hundreds of assets or one major campaign, approvals now move in sync across stages with full visibility and flexibility.
Next-Generation Approval Workflow Builder We’ve completely redesigned the workflow builder for clarity and power. Horizontal stage views, smarter navigation, and pre-launch validation make it easy to ensure every approval flow is accurate before it goes live.
Review every approval workflow in detail before it goes live
Smarter Tracking, Reporting, and Control New real-time dashboards give teams full visibility into approval progress with filters for project, file, due date, or reviewer. Bold overdue indicators, timestamped approvals, and built-in audit trails provide accountability across every level of the organization.
See all approval status and reviewers in one spot
Centralized Approval Hub Finally, one source of truth. The new Approvals Hub consolidates every project, review link, and status in one easy-to-navigate space.
Custom Template Library Teams can now save and reuse workflows, keeping approvals consistent across departments, clients, and campaigns, while reducing setup time for every new project.
We know that creative teams live across different platforms, and we designed StreamWork to meet them there. StreamWork integrates seamlessly with Asana, Monday.com, Slack, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, and more, so teams can collaborate without switching tools. Our latest update extends StreamWork’s Asana and Monday.com integrations to support bulk approvals with real-time status syncing, meaning project updates stay perfectly aligned between platforms.
StreamWork seamlessly connects with your existing creative stack
The results speak for themselves. When a global CPG brand launched a new product requiring stakeholders to review and approve more than 450 creative assets, StreamWork’s Asana integration reduced hundreds of fragmented comment chains down to just a few per file, dramatically reducing versioning and helping to increase speed to market.
“I just think that every creative team should be using StreamWork. It helps the project managers, it helps the designers, and it helps all the stakeholders involved,” said Kelly Perry, Creative Operations Consultant.
The ROI of Moving Faster
Slow approvals don’t just waste time, they waste money and morale. In our survey, three out of four respondents said delayed approvals directly hurt their team’s budgets. The ripple effects are enormous: missed deadlines, wasted resources, and stalled creativity.
StreamWork’s latest release helps teams reverse that trend. By automating workflows, centralizing communication, and providing transparency at every step, teams finally get the speed and control they’ve been missing.
“The human and financial cost of slow approvals is real,” said Bailey. “StreamWork helps teams take back their time, deliver higher-quality work, and launch faster with fewer headaches.”
